I am 22 and studying for my bachelors degree in biology for ecology and conservation online. I have always had a passion for nature, and as a child I had a deep love of dinosaurs that never quite went away. Imagine my shock finding out we live alongside modern dinosaurs (these are of course birds). As I began to immerse myself more in learning about nature and studying ecology I was as continuously fascinated by the wilderness as I was devastated by the declining state of our natural world.

Insect populations alone saw a 72.4% drop from 2004-2024. From 1970-2020 there was a 81% decline in monitored populations of migratory freshwater fish.

This is how I hope I can raise the much needed money for those doing the amazing work I wish to one day do.
